Happy Bastille Day, guys!

I feel slightly embarrassed. I nearly forgot it was Bastille Day and would have forgotten if it weren't for Pelly's entry in her LJ. *shame*

But I didn't forget, so NYAH. And I have an excuse, really I do, 'cos I'm in Canada and just discovered Lord of the Rings: Battle For Middle-Earth, which is like fanservice for t3h LotR-deprived Ireny, 'cos it's like one freaking huge AU of d00m, and it's got cruddy graphics but is so so so fun, and the fact that you can save Boromir at Amon Hen has absolutely nothing to do with it, ha ha ha of course not and yes it is FUN.

*breathes*

I mean...ahem. Happy Bastille Day! *waves little red flag*

Whoa ... it's, like, July 14 already? *confusion* I have no clue what day of the week it is, let alone the day of the month, plus we're on different time systems, and I had no idea and completely forgot as well, and wtf am I ranting about anyway ...

So yeah. HAPPY POOR FOLK OUT OF JAIL/BEGINNING OF ARISTO GUILLOTINING DAY!

*cowers* I'm sorry! I had to save Boromir Gondor needed my help I was distracted by the shiny LotR PC game! It won't happen again, I promise unless EA Games comes up with something even better for my inner fangirl !

I saw it in Best Buy yesterday, but I decided to get Knights of the Old Republic instead. No fear--once the good computer is back up, I'll get so many games that mum will have to tear me off, bwahaha...

Well, I only remembered that it was Bastille Day because I was reading about it in my French book and there was totally an entire unit on it. So yeah.
